Benefits of membership

The benefits of IAH membership include the following:

opportunities to contact other hydrogeologists and groundwater specialists around the world;
the Hydrogeology Journal, published six times a year, containing peer reviewed papers on hydrogeology and related topics, and an annual thematic issue on a special topic;
online access to all papers published in the Hydrogeology Journal;
discounts on IAH books and registration fees at IAH conferences;
online access to the full membership directory;
news and information about IAH, via printed and electronic newsletters.

Note that the subscription fees for IAH membership are usually tax deductible, depending on your tax status.

Membership of the British National Chapter

If you join IAH and are based in Britain, then you automatically become a member of the British National Chapter. You can also choose to be part of the British National Chapter, even if you live elsewhere. The easiest way to join IAH is via the main IAH website where you can find full details of the current subscription rates. Reduced rates are available for students, and people from middle and low income countries.
