The Early Career Hydrogeologists’ Network (ECHN) of the International Association of Hydrogeologists aims to support hydrogeologists at the start of their professional careers and to promote their involvement in IAH affairs. The professional background of its members ranges from academic/scientific to governmental and industrial.
Our goals
One of the main goals of IAH is to improve the understanding of groundwater issues and to support its better management. To maintain and develop this knowledge and understanding through time, those at the start of their professional careers are encouraged to become involved into IAH affairs as early as possible. A well established and supported international network of early career hydrogeologists is one of the keystones for a successful and forward-looking IAH.
